At First Baptist Church of Eagle Pass, we believe in living out our Christian life. We encourage people to be actively involved in ministering to others, while progressing in their own spiritual life.

We strongly encourage our members to live out their Christianity in their daily lives rather than being a Sunday-morning-Christian that merely warms a seat. We encourage our members to be an active Christian influence in the community and to witness the hope of Jesus Christ with everyone they know and come in contact with. We encourage personal evangelism on a daily basis.

Personal spiritual growth is very important for your life in Christ. We encourage you to spend time in God's word and in prayer on a daily basis. In addition, we also offer several growth opportunities during our services. We are currently studying in detail, verse by verse, through several areas of the Bible. God's word is our final authority for all matters of faith and practice, and we believe that actively studying the Bible is the key to your growth in Christ.

We are excited about our student ministry. The youth are our future, and we involve them and train them in the life of our church. Our youth are involved in Media Presenations, Praise Band, and in our community outreach efforts.

We have many activities to engage our children. We are teaching them to minister to others. They are becoming "doers of the word and not hearers only".
