I am excited about the great things that God is accomplishing in and through our church. We have an awesome witness and testimony in our community and God is using us to minister in ways I could have only imagined. It is a priviledge for me to be a member of the First Baptist Church and to work with such wonderful people.

I am encouraged by the spiritual growth and development being experienced by many of our members. Additionally, God is adding to our numbers. We have experienced growth during the summer months, which is very unusual, and I am looking forward to what God has planned for us this autumn. I want to encourage each of our members to stay in God's word, to earnestly contend for the faith, and to be a living example of Jesus to all those we come in contact with. As we grow, there will be growing pains, we will need to move out of our comfort zone, and we must make room for new and exciting ministries.
